Once upon a time not too long ago JD Vance couldn’t stop warning America about the dangers of Donald Trump. He called him “cultural heroin,” warned voters not to fall for his con, and made it clear that Trump’s influence on the GOP was a disaster in the making.
Fast forward to today… and guess who’s standing next to Trump with a smile.
Yep. JD Vance the man who once practically led the anti-Trump chorus is now become Trump’s vice presidential. It’s like watching someone scream “Don’t go in there!” before walking straight into the haunted house themselves.
The internet isn’t letting him forget it either. Old tweets are resurfacing. Interview clips are circulating. And MAGA loyalists? Some still don’t trust him. But Trump loves a convert and Vance has gone all in, backing Trump on everything from election fraud claims to immigration crackdowns.
Critics are calling it “the political U-turn of the decade.” Supporters are chalking it up to “growth.” But Americans watching from the sidelines? Most are just laughing.
How does one go from calling Trump “noxious” to being one heartbeat away from the Oval Office? Simple: ambition, timing, and a little selective amnesia.
JD Vance told voters not to fall into Trump’s trap. Now he’s not only in the trap he’s decorating it with red, white, and blue.
