He Was a U.S. Spy for 22 Years - Then Vanished With $4.3 Million and a Russian Passport

For more than two decades, he operated in the shadows embedded in Middle Eastern militias, bribing generals, feeding intel straight to Langley. But now, the man once known only by his code name “Echo Signal” is gone.

And the CIA has no idea where he went. Sources say the former intelligence asset disappeared from a safe house in Qatar last month with $4.3 million in untraceable cryptocurrency and was later seen boarding a private jet out of Dubai, escorted by two individuals using Russian diplomatic credentials.

The betrayal has shaken the U.S. intelligence community.

“He knew everything,” one former handler told a journalist. “He had access to classified drone logs, black site locations, names of local assets. If he flipped, this is catastrophic.”

The biggest twist? Surveillance images from Dubai show him carrying a red passport Russian Federation issue under a different name.

There’s no proof yet he defected. But if he did, he may have just delivered two decades of secrets to America’s oldest nuclear rival.
