Commuters in Lagos should brace for traffic disruptions as the Lagos State Government has announced a 21-day closure of the Ijora-Marina Bridge starting May 18.
The bridge will undergo essential maintenance and structural reinforcement following recent safety inspections.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, advised road users to explore alternative routes, including the Eko Bridge and Carter Bridge, during the closure period.
Authorities assure the public that work will be expedited to minimize the impact on traffic and daily business activities.
