It was a sight that stopped traffic and broke hearts children, some as young as 10, handcuffed and chained together, being escorted out of the Los Angeles Federal Building in broad daylight.
Witnesses were stunned, many pulling out their phones in disbelief, capturing the heartbreaking moment that has now gone viral across social media platforms. In the videos, children appear visibly distressed, some crying, others silent with fear, as federal agents lead them into waiting transport vans.
But who are these children? Why were they cuffed and restrained like criminals?

According to sources close to the scene, the children were part of a recent mass immigration raid linked to undocumented families being processed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Officials claim the children were being relocated to a “secure processing facility” due to overcrowding, but critics say the use of shackles on minors is not only inhumane it’s illegal.
“We are witnessing state-sponsored child abuse,” said Rev. David Manning, a local pastor who arrived at the scene minutes after the incident. “These children are not criminals. They’re victims and now they’re being paraded in chains for the world to see.”
Human rights advocates and legal experts are now calling for a federal investigation, and several civil rights groups have already filed emergency motions demanding immediate explanations and transparency.
