The world is shifting fast militarily, economically, and digitally and many global analysts are asking a critical question: Is the United States truly prepared for what’s coming next? From mounting debt to AI warfare to growing geopolitical alliances that exclude the U.S., signals from abroad suggest a stark answer: no.
According to a new Pew Research global perception survey, confidence in America’s ability to lead the world has dropped to its lowest point in over a decade. Meanwhile, countries like China, India, and Russia are testing the limits of U.S. deterrence and often winning.
Top U.S. generals have warned of a “multi-front” threat era. Economists are sounding alarms over America’s unsustainable debt-to-GDP ratio, now approaching 130%. And yet, the nation remains politically paralyzed at home.
If a new global order is indeed forming, the question is no longer whether America will lead but whether it will even keep up.
