In a blistering statement that has sent shockwaves through Washington, Senator Mitt Romney has accused President Donald Trump of turning U.S. governance into a personal business operation, warning that such a system is setting the country on a dangerous path toward internal collapse and future conflict.
“This is no longer politics. This is profiteering under the guise of patriotism,” Romney said during a Senate briefing on federal oversight. “Trump isn’t just covering past mistakes with vanity projects like the Freedom Dome he’s laying the groundwork for a future war on America itself.”
Romney’s remarks come amid growing controversy surrounding Trump’s support for the multi-billion-dollar “Freedom Dome” initiative a high-tech infrastructure project promoted by Trump-allied contractors, allegedly under the banner of “national unity and security.”
