Pastor Charles Hammond wasn’t trying to start a war. He just spoke his heart.
During his Sunday sermon in Atlanta, he told his congregation:
“I don’t think God is in America anymore because we’ve turned into Sodom, greed runs our politics, and the poor are begging in the streets.”
A clip went viral. Praise and backlash followed. But just three days later his church caught fire. Arson suspected.
He survived. The building didn’t.
Now, he’s speaking again, this time from a parking lot.
“I said God left this country and maybe He’s trying to come back through us.”
Some call him a prophet. Others call him dangerous.
Either way, America is listening.
