Kyiv woke up to hell. In a surprise overnight assault, Russia launched a wave of drones and missiles at Ukraine’s capital, killing at least 14 people and injuring over 40. Entire apartment blocks were destroyed. A U.S. citizen is among the dead.
Parts of the city are still on fire. Families are trapped. Hospitals are full.
“We were sleeping… then everything exploded,” one survivor told local reporters. Officials say the strike hit multiple neighborhoods, including homes, schools, and a maternity clinic.
No word yet from Moscow. This is one of the deadliest attacks on Kyiv in months.
