U.S. President Donald Trump is stirring controversy again this time with a bold idea that the world should be controlled by three superpowers: the United States, Russia, and China.
In recent statements and behind-the-scenes talks, Trump has suggested that each of these countries should focus on their own regions and stay out of each other’s way. He believes this kind of arrangement could bring “order” to global affairs.
But many experts are worried. They say Trump’s thinking sounds like the 1800s, when big empires divided the world into zones of control and ignored the rights of smaller countries.
“Trump is talking like the world belongs to a few powerful nations,” said a political analyst in Washington. “That’s not how democracy works, and it’s not how peace is kept in today’s world.”

According to Trump, the U.S. should dominate the Americas, Russia should take charge in Europe and parts of Asia, while China should lead in the East. He has even suggested the U.S. should avoid interfering in Ukraine or Taiwan both flashpoints involving Russia and China.
This way of thinking has sparked anger among U.S. allies and raised fears that Trump could weaken international partnerships like NATO or the United Nations if he returns to power.
Historians say Trump’s ideas reflect a time when global powers acted like landlords of the planet, carving up territories without concern for local people or democracy.

“Trump’s plan is not modern leadership,” said one foreign policy expert. “It’s an outdated and dangerous way to look at the world.”
As Trump continues to make headlines and influence political debates, many are wondering: Is this just talk or a preview of how he’d run the world again?
