The devastating Liverpool car crash has claimed the lives of 120 people, marking one of the deadliest incidents in the city’s recent history. The tragedy unfolded during what was initially reported as a ramming attack, sending shockwaves throughout the community and the nation.
Among the survivors is Emma Collins, who narrowly escaped with her life. In a harrowing interview, she recounted the terrifying moments when the attacker’s vehicle barreled into the crowded street.
“He tried to kill me,” Collins said, her voice trembling. “The car came out of nowhere, and I was thrown several feet. I could hear people screaming everywhere. It was the most traumatising experience of my life.”
Emergency responders rushed to the scene as chaos engulfed the area. Hospitals across Liverpool are working tirelessly to treat the injured, many in critical condition.
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Police have confirmed the driver was apprehended at the scene but have not yet released a motive or identity pending further inquiry.
