A shocking tragedy has struck the Boise community after a student from Cedar Valley High Schoolwas found dead near the school on Friday afternoon. Authorities confirmed that 17-year-old Jacob Miller, a junior at the school, was discovered by a passerby in a nearby park just after 4 PM.
The Boise Police Department responded immediately and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Jacob’s death. Police Chief Lisa Grant stated, “This is a deeply tragic event. Our team is working diligently to determine what happened and to ensure justice is served.”
Cedar Valley High School’s principal, Tom Reynolds, expressed sorrow to students and parents, saying, “Our hearts go out to Jacob’s family, friends, and the entire Cedar Valley community. We are providing counseling and support to help everyone cope with this loss.”
