The Middle East remains a flashpoint for global tensions as Israeli forces launched fresh airstrikes on the Syrian coastal cities of Latakia and Tartous late Thursday. Reports indicate multiple casualties and severe damage to military installations linked to Iranian-backed groups.
The Israeli government has not officially confirmed the operation, but regional sources suggest it’s part of a continued campaign to prevent weapons transfers to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

“These are not random attacks this is strategy,” said a former IDF analyst. “Israel is trying to reset the power balance in the region before it explodes.”
