A wave of renewed concern has hit the Nigerian military following coordinated attacks by Boko Haram insurgents in Borno State, leading to the fall of army camps in Rann and Gajiram.
Sources within the military say both bases were caught off guard after the insurgents reportedly used decoys dressed in civilian attire to breach initial perimeters.

“Once inside, they opened fire and took over communications,” a junior officer told Dobblog under condition of anonymity. “The attackers moved with intelligence we believe came from insiders.”
This is the second major breach in less than a week, after a previous attack on Marte LGA. Defence authorities have launched an internal probe as fears of sabotage intensify.
