Qatar’s Ministry of Defense has reportedly intercepted two ballistic missiles targeting Ras Laffan Industrial City, one of the country’s most important energy hubs.
The development was reported by Al Jazeera, as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran and its regional rivals.
Ras Laffan is a critical center for global liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, and any attack on the facility could have major global energy implications.
