ADC Office Set Ablaze in Rivers State Ahead of Amaechi Visit

A local office belonging to the African Democratic Congress in Ubima, Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State has reportedly been set on fire by suspected hoodlums.

According to reports circulating on social media, the incident occurred shortly before a planned visit by Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

Eyewitness accounts claim that unidentified individuals attacked the building and set it ablaze, causing significant damage to the party office.

However, authorities have not yet issued an official statement confirming the incident, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made.

Ubima is the hometown of Amaechi, who previously served as governor of Rivers State and later as Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation.

Political observers say the situation highlights growing tensions in the region as political activities increase across the country.

More details are expected as security agencies investigate the reported attack.
