Tehran didn’t stay quiet for long. Just hours after Israeli warplanes bombed Iran’s state television headquarters live on air, Iranian forces have launched a powerful counterattack striking multiple Israeli military installations in a wave of what they’re calling “immediate retaliation for the war on truth.”
The Iranian government called the Israeli strike a “direct assault on the voice of the people.” And this time, they didn’t just respond with words they answered with fire.
According to early reports from Iranian media (broadcast now through emergency backup networks), the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched over 30 drones and ballistic missiles targeting Israeli air bases near Tel Aviv, Haifa, and the Negev Desert.
In an official televised address, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said:
“You bombed our voices. Now hear ours roar. This is not just a military reply. It is a declaration that Iran will never kneel.”
Israel has acknowledged that several of its bases came under attack but insists that most were intercepted. However, eyewitnesses on the ground reported explosions, smoke, and blackouts in parts of Tel Aviv.
What began as border clashes has now escalated into a full scale regional war with global consequences.
The symbolic bombing of Iran’s TV station seems to have ignited a new front: not just military vs. military, but media vs. power, truth vs. control.
