“Is This How God Helped Israel? Bombs on Children or Propaganda?” Faith Leaders Slam Israel’s Warpath

As missiles fly across the skies of the Middle East and images of lifeless children flood global media, a burning question is echoing from pulpits, press rooms, and protests alike:

“Is this really how God helped Israel win in the Bible or have we all been programmed by propaganda?”

In the heat of Israel’s latest military strikes on Iran and Gaza, many are questioning whether the modern State of Israel still reflects the spiritual vision described in the Bible or whether it has traded God’s commandments for geopolitical power.

American faith leader Pastor Jeremiah Knox, a former pro-Israel evangelist, stunned his congregation last Sunday when he stood before thousands and said:

“God didn’t send bombs. God didn’t target babies. When Israel walked with God in the Bible, He fought their battles with miracles not with guided missiles funded by U.S. tax dollars.”

His sermon has since gone viral, with over 5 million views in 48 hours on social media. Knox went on to accuse the Israeli government of weaponizing religion to justify war, saying:

“The same Bible they claim to follow also says, ‘Thou shalt not kill.’ You cannot claim God and drop bombs on children at the same time.”

While many support Israel’s right to defend itself, critics argue that invoking biblical history to justify modern military campaigns is dangerous.

The Bible speaks of wars, yes but also justice, mercy, and compassion. The prophetic vision of Jerusalem was one of peace and prayer not drone strikes and civilian casualties.

Christian, Muslim, and Jewish scholars alike are calling for a return to sacred values over political strategy.

Social media platforms are now flooded with AI-generated videos, government-controlled narratives, and emotionally charged content making it harder than ever to know what’s real.

Some say we are being programmed, not informed.

“Every empire that justifies killing in the name of God eventually falls,” says interfaith activist and author Laila Munir.

“We’re not watching prophecy unfold. We’re watching history repeat itself in blood and silence.”

If this is how Israel wins wars today with fire, iron, and silence then where is the God of peace, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?

And if you dare to question it, are you anti-Israel… or just tired of watching innocents die in the name of something that no longer feels holy?
