In what could become a turning point in the Middle East crisis, a U.S. surveillance drone reportedly entered Iranian airspace early Friday. Within the hour, Iranian news channels broadcast images of wreckage in Hormozgan Province allegedly belonging to an American aircraft.
Then something strange happened.
The Pentagon briefly published a statement confirming the loss of a drone, citing a “technical malfunction.” The post disappeared just 23 minutes later leaving questions, confusion, and conspiracy theories in its wake.
Was it really a malfunction or an act of war?
