Nigeria is hosting the first-ever Africa Music Business Roundtable, a three-day event that gathers key players in the continent’s music and entertainment industry.
Held at Eko Hotel in Lagos, the roundtable features top executives, artists, producers, and policymakers discussing monetization, copyright reforms, and international distribution.

Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, declared the event open and hailed it as a “defining moment” for African creatives.
Headliners include Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and Spotify’s Head of African Music, Phiona Okumu. The event ends June 5.
