Minutes before a missile strike hit their home in Gaza, Rana Al-Hussein, a 29-year-old mother, sent a voice note to her sister. In it, she says her final words:
“If we don’t make it, tell Sara she is my sunshine.”
Sara was her 3-year-old daughter. Both were found under the rubble later that night.
No politics. No strategy. Just heartbreak.
This is the war no one wants to look at but the world must.
