An international flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza was intercepted by Israeli naval forces on June 9.
The ship, named Madleen, had over 5 tons of food, medicine, and water. Among the passengers was climate activist Greta Thunberg.
Israeli officials claimed the flotilla violated the blockade, while activists onboard said it was a peaceful mission to deliver emergency aid.
Twelve crew members were detained. Global human rights groups have condemned the interception, calling it a breach of humanitarian law. Gaza remains on the brink of collapse with over 2 million people facing a severe humanitarian crisis.
