“We Don’t Want Bloodshed in Mafoluku Again!” – MC Oluomo Loyalists Cry Out, Urge Tinubu and Lagos Leaders to Intervene

Tensions are rising again in Mafoluku, Oshodi, as residents and loyalists of MC Oluomo raise alarm over what they describe as a growing threat of violence linked to renewed clashes involving suspected street gangs and factional transport union members.

In an emotional outcry, community members gathered on Thursday morning to demand urgent intervention from the Federal and Lagos State governments, warning that the situation in Mafoluku could spiral out of control if not immediately addressed.

“We don’t want our people to die again!” one resident shouted during a protest. The demonstrators are calling on President Bola Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, House of Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, NURTW President MC Oluomo, and Lagos NURTW State Chairman Alhaji Mustafa Sego to quickly caution and restrain a certain factional leader known as Taloskibo.

According to those on ground, Taloskibo is accused of attempting to forcefully take over control in Mafoluku, a move that residents say could trigger violent retaliation and unrest reminiscent of past crises in the area.

The loyalists insist their appeal is not about party or politics but about peace, security, and the safety of innocent lives.

“We supported MC Oluomo for peace. If people are now coming to provoke violence in his name, then the leadership must step in,” one NURTW supporter said.

The Lagos Police Command has yet to make an official statement, but community leaders are urging security forces to act before any escalation.
