At least three Palestinian women have been killed and thirteen others wounded in an Iranian missile attack on the West Bank town of Beit Awwa, according to reports from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and international news agencies.
The strike, believed to have been caused by a cluster munition‑equipped missile fired by Iranian forces toward southern Israel, hit a hair salon and surrounding civilian areas late on March 18, 2026.
This is the first reported deadly Iranian strike in the occupied West Bank since the broader Iran–Israel conflict intensified earlier this year. The weapon’s wide dispersal of bomblets poses serious danger to civilians, and authorities say the West Bank’s lack of bomb shelters has left residents particularly vulnerable.
