Residents of Des Moines, Iowa were stunned Monday night after a military surveillance drone was seen flying unusually low, zig-zagging through the skies and then suddenly going dark for over two minutes.
According to an FAA alert, the drone suffered a temporary signal disruption. But local witnesses captured video of the moment it dropped altitude sharply and hovered over civilian areas before climbing again.

Now, questions are swirling about whether this was just a technical glitch or a sign of larger cyber vulnerabilities in U.S. military systems.
