What was meant to be a reset in U.S.–Iran diplomatic relations has turned into another failure as nuclear talks were suspended indefinitely following Israel’s military strikes.
Iranian diplomats walked out of the negotiating table early this morning, stating that “talks cannot continue while blood is being shed.” The Biden administration, while expressing disappointment, maintains that diplomacy remains “the only viable solution.”
Experts warn the collapse of dialogue could bring Iran dangerously close to a nuclear weapons threshold, setting up a broader confrontation in the region.
