In one of the largest air assaults of the year, Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on three Russian military airfields, reportedly destroying over 40 combat aircraft. The overnight operation targeted bases in Rostov, Kursk, and Crimea.
Ukrainian military officials have hailed the mission as a strategic success, calling it “the beginning of the end for Russia’s aerial dominance.” Satellite images and independent analysts confirm widespread damage to hangars and parked jets.
