A fiery statement late Friday, President Donald Trump broke his silence following chilling threats aired on Iranian state TV that promised “the blood of 50,000 U.S. soldiers” in retaliation for what Tehran calls “American interference.”
The threats which aired during a military parade broadcast have sparked outrage and panic online. Trump responded with his trademark bluntness: “They want coffins? They’ll get fire.”
White House officials have not officially commented, but insiders say there are quiet talks underway to de-escalate rising tensions. Trump, however, has taken to Truth Social with memes, war rhetoric, and direct warnings to Iran’s leadership.
Critics say Trump’s comments may inflame already delicate U.S.–Middle East relations. Supporters say it’s the strength America needs to project.
As the internet debates his words, soldiers and families across the globe are holding their breath, hoping words won’t turn into war.
