Things are getting serious fast. As Donald Trump considers launching a military strike on Iran, the Iranian government has fired back with a strong warning: if you hit us, we’ll hit you back hard.
Across the Middle East, U.S. military bases are now on high alert. From Qatar to Iraq, and even ships in the Persian Gulf, American troops are in places that could both launch an attack and become targets if Iran retaliates.
Iran’s military isn’t hiding their plans either. On national TV, one top commander warned that “no U.S. base in the region will be safe” if Iran is attacked.
So far, the Pentagon hasn’t said anything official about what Trump will do. But behind the scenes, everyone knows if this goes wrong, it could turn into a big war fast.
Right now, all eyes are on Trump’s next move and whether peace still has a chance.
