On board Air Force One en route to the NATO summit this Wednesday, President Donald Trump lashed out at reports suggesting that the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran failed to take out key nuclear sites. The president didn’t hold back, calling the leaks “fake news” and defending the precision of the mission.
“They hit the target perfectly, they wiped it out,” Trump told reporters traveling with him. “The press is very disrespectful. Fake news. It was a perfect hit.”
The outburst followed leaked intelligence reports indicating that the U.S. strikes did not achieve their primary objective of dismantling Tehran’s nuclear infrastructure. According to those leaks, Iran’s Fordow and Natanz facilities sustained limited damage and remained largely operational.

Trump, visibly irritated, praised the U.S. pilots involved in the operation, calling them “great geniuses” who flew through “tremendous danger.” He said criticism of the operation was unfair to those risking their lives in service of the country.
But the president didn’t stop there. In a separate rant, he slammed both Iran and Israel for allegedly breaching the recently announced ceasefire. “They don’t know what the f*** they’re doing,” Trump said bluntly, referring to military actions by both nations that reportedly resumed within hours of the ceasefire’s announcement.
The White House has yet to formally address the leaked intelligence, but insiders say the president is furious at what he sees as deliberate sabotage of his foreign policy narrative.
As tensions in the Middle East remain high, the fallout from the strikes and Trump’s combative response continues to ripple through global diplomacy and U.S. politics alike.
