The war just hit America and it’s no longer just a Middle East problem. Less than 12 hours after U.S. airstrikes demolished three Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran has responded, launching a direct ballistic missile attack on a U.S. military base in Iraq.
Pentagon sources confirmed the strike hit Ain al-Asad airbase, home to hundreds of U.S. troops. At least 27 are reported injured, with 5 in critical condition. The Trump administration is holding emergency security meetings, while military evacuation protocols have quietly begun across U.S. positions in the region. And now, the world is choosing sides.
In a chilling press conference, a spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry called the American Israeli strikes unprovoked acts of nuclear aggression and warned that China will not stand by if further escalation continues.

Russia went even further President Vladimir Putin said the U.S. has “crossed a red line” and ordered the Russian military to enter combat readiness phase 3, the highest alert status before full deployment.
“America has started something it cannot control,” Putin said. “And we are prepared to act.”
Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei addressed the nation in a televised broadcast, declaring:
“Our enemies attacked our future. We will respond with the full force of our faith and fire.”

Crowds in Tehran cheered the missile strike as a first warning. Hezbollah has reportedly launched drones from southern Lebanon, and Syrian fighters are mobilizing near the Israeli border. Iraq has now formally demanded all U.S. forces leave the country immediately.
Inside the U.S. chaos is building. Major cities are on heightened terror alert. Airports are increasing security. And Wall Street just suffered its worst single day drop since 2020.
In the words of one NATO official: “We’ve lost control of the chessboard. Now it’s missiles not diplomacy doing the talking.”
This is no longer just about Iran and Israel. This is the world unraveling one strike at a time.
