When Michael Davis, a part-time janitor, bought an abandoned Detroit house for $20 in a city auction, he thought he’d just get a roof over his head. Instead, while clearing the basement, he discovered boxes of gold bars wrapped in cloth.
Authorities confirmed the stash is worth over $7 million but where it came from remains a mystery. Davis has now vanished from social media, reportedly living under security after receiving threats.
