A major humanitarian crisis is unfolding in Gaza after a U.S.- and Israeli-backed aid group suspended food deliveries due to fatal shootings near their distribution sites. At least dozens of Palestinians were reported dead following Israeli gunfire at crowded areas where civilians were lining up for essential supplies.
The group, which operates under intense coordination with Israeli authorities, announced a “temporary and immediate pause” in distribution, citing escalating violence and loss of civilian lives. “We cannot continue in a context where people are being killed where food is being given,” one field coordinator said anonymously.

As of this morning, at least 26 people were confirmed dead in a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, with children among the victims. International outcry is mounting, with human rights organizations demanding a ceasefire and safe corridors for aid workers.
The Israeli military has defended its actions, claiming operatives of Hamas were embedded within the crowds a claim yet to be independently verified.
