Turkey has officially launched its highly anticipated high-speed rail line connecting Istanbul and Ankara, reducing the travel time between the two cities to under two hours a significant improvement over previous journey times.
President Mehmet Yildiz inaugurated the line, highlighting it as a “milestone in Turkey’s infrastructure modernization” and a boost to economic integration between the country’s commercial and political capitals.

The rail line features the latest in safety technology, eco-friendly design, and passenger amenities, including onboard Wi-Fi and business-class seating.
