Ganduje Warns “Very Dark Man” Over Comments on Political Leaders

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has issued a stern warning to social media personality “Very Dark Man,” cautioning him over his persistent criticisms of Nigerian political leaders.

Speaking during a closed-door meeting with party stakeholders in Abuja on Monday, Ganduje expressed concern over what he described as “reckless and disrespectful” statements made by the online activist.

According to Ganduje, if Very Dark Man does not moderate his tone and language when addressing national leaders, he may soon find himself “in a situation where no one will be able to assist him.”

“Freedom of speech is guaranteed in our constitution, but freedom without responsibility leads to destruction,” Ganduje said. “Very Dark Man must understand that consistent disrespect for leaders will not be tolerated. If he continues on this path, he could land himself where even those cheering him today will not be able to help.”

The APC leader stressed the importance of maintaining respect for institutions and leadership, especially in a country working to strengthen its democracy.

Although Ganduje did not disclose any specific action being planned against the influencer, political observers say the warning could be a signal that authorities are growing increasingly uneasy with the influence of digital activists in shaping public opinion.

Very Dark Man, who is known for his blunt and controversial social media posts, has yet to respond publicly to the statement.

This development has sparked a fresh round of debates online, with many Nigerians divided between defending the right to free speech and calling for more decorum in public discourse.
