This might sound surprising but to those who really know him, it’s not.
Mark Zuckerberg’s recent public embrace of Donald Trump has raised eyebrows across the tech and political world. But according to dozens of former colleagues and insiders, this shift isn’t a sudden change it’s just the Facebook founder finally revealing who he really is.
“Mark was trying to keep his real feelings tight inside and put on a suit and cut his hair and be a good boy,” one Meta insider told the Financial Times. “But the whole time this was all one inch underneath. Then he said, ‘F*** it. I might as well be the person I really am.’”

Zuckerberg, who once championed liberal causes and openly criticized Trump during his first term, has quietly pivoted in recent years. Since Trump’s return to power in November, the Meta CEO has been spotted at Mar-a-Lago, reportedly donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration, co-hosted a private reception, and made subtle shifts in company policies that align more closely with conservative values.
Some say it’s a strategic move. Others say it’s personal.
Either way, the tech world is buzzing. As Meta continues to dominate digital communication and shape public discourse, Zuckerberg’s political leanings are no longer just a footnote they’re front and center. And now, the mask is off.
