Dr. Kevin O’Connor, former President Joe Biden’s personal White House physician, has been officially subpoenaed to testify before Congress on July 9, raising fresh questions about Biden’s mental sharpness and health transparency during his time in office.
The decision, confirmed today, comes as Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the powerful Oversight Committee, pushes deeper into allegations that the American people were misled about Biden’s condition especially during his final year in office.
O’Connor, who has been with Biden since the Obama era, will face tough questions about his February 2024 physical, where he declared Biden “fit for duty.” But new books and reports including news of Biden’s aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis have cast doubt on that assessment.

The committee is also probing Biden’s alleged use of autopen signatures while in office, suggesting he may not have always been the one making decisions behind the scenes.
O’Connor had previously refused a voluntary interview, citing doctor patient confidentiality under D.C. law. But Comer’s team says the American public deserves to know whether any part of Biden’s medical records were influenced or hidden.
As pressure mounts, O’Connor now has no choice but to speak under oath in what could become a major turning point in how history remembers Biden’s presidency.
