“She Knows” by J. Code Sparks Controversy as Fans Claim It’s a Beyoncé Diss Track

The internet is on fire after rising rapper J. Code dropped a surprise single titled “She Knows” a track fans and critics alike are calling a direct shot at global superstar Beyoncé.

Released late Friday night without any promotional build-up, the track quickly shot to trending status on X and TikTok as lyrics began circulating online. Many listeners believe the song’s pointed bars, veiled references, and tone make it clear: J. Code is coming for Queen Bey.

One of the most controversial lines reads:

“They worship crowns made of glitter and gold,

But she lost the soul when she sold her soul.”

Though Beyoncé’s name is never directly mentioned, fans argue the line subtly references her famous nickname “Queen Bey,” her luxury aesthetic, and long-standing criticisms of her commercial evolution. Another bar that’s sparking debates:

“She dances for the cameras, not the culture.”

The line has been interpreted by many as a jab at Beyoncé’s Afro-centric albums like Black Is King and Renaissance, which critics claim walk a fine line between cultural appreciation and appropriation.

Fan Reactions Explode Online

Within hours, the BeyHive Beyoncé’s fiercely loyal fanbase began launching a counteroffensive on social media, calling for J. Code to clarify or apologize. Some are accusing him of clout-chasing, while others are dissecting the track line-by-line, demanding receipts.

“This man really thought it was smart to come for Beyoncé in 2025?” tweeted @beywatcher101. “Career over before it started.”

Others, however, praised the rapper for being bold enough to challenge an icon.

“Finally someone said it,” wrote @truthraps. “Y’all act like Beyoncé is untouchable. J. Code just made the game interesting again.”

Silence from Beyoncé’s Camp

As of Saturday morning, Beyoncé has not responded to the track, nor has her label or management team. It remains unclear whether she’ll address it publicly or let her fans continue handling the heat online.

Industry insiders say the controversy could actually boost J. Code’s visibility, but it’s a high risk gamble. Dissing a global powerhouse like Beyoncé has ended careers before and unless J. Code backs it up with more hits, he may find the spotlight fading just as fast as it came.

Who Is J. Code?

Known for his aggressive lyrical style and social media antics, J. Code is a relatively new name in hip-hop but has built a strong following for his raw freestyles and unapologetic commentary on the music industry. “She Knows” is the first single from his upcoming album “No Royalty”, set to drop in late June.

For now, fans are left decoding every line and waiting to see if Beyoncé will respond, on or off the mic.
