Qatar has officially announced it will host the 2027 World Innovation Summit focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, positioning itself as a global hub for tech innovation and thought leadership.
The summit, expected to attract thousands of scientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors, will address AI ethics, governance frameworks, and the transformative economic potential of AI across sectors.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, chairman of the Qatar Foundation, stated, “Qatar is committed to fostering responsible innovation. This summit will provide a unique platform to shape the future of AI in ways that benefit humanity.”
